Kapelian – Musician Biography Kapelian is an emerging Ugandan musician, songwriter, and performer from Namalu in the Karamoja sub-region. Born in Namalu, Kapelian proudly represents the culture, language, and traditions of his community through music that blends Afrobeat, dancehall, and contemporary African sounds. Alongside his music career, Kapelian is pursuing a National Certificate in Tour Guiding, reflecting his passion for promoting Uganda's tourism, cultural heritage, and natural beauty. He currently works in Moru Ajore, Namalu, where he continues to connect with his community while building his artistic journey. Inspired by everyday life, love, culture, and the resilience of the Karamoja people, Kapelian creates songs that entertain, inspire, and celebrate African identity. With dedication, creativity, and a unique musical style, he is steadily establishing himself as one of the promising voices from Karamoja, aiming to share his music with audiences across Uganda and beyond.
