Niwabo Belinda, professionally known as Kin Bella, is a talented Afrobeat and dancehall singer-songwriter originating from Uganda. Her breakthrough moment arrived in 2023 with the unveiling of 'Nkuwe,' a collaborative masterpiece featuring none other than the B.E.T award winner, Eddy Kenzo.
Kin Bella's upbringing in the Wandegeya police barracks, where she formed a deep bond with her childhood friend Atuke, alias "2K," played a pivotal role in shaping her musical journey. Music served as her solace during tough times, particularly after the loss of her biological father. Spending evenings in music clubs and bars during her adolescence became a common occurrence, reflecting her unwavering passion for music and laying the foundation for her future in the industry.
Her initial venture into the music scene was through her association with Masters Music. While initially presumed to be under contract with the label, it later came to light that no formal agreements were made, and her involvement primarily revolved around rehearsals.
A turning point in her career came when she crossed paths with Eddy Kenzo at his studio, Big Talent Entertainment. Kenzo's admiration for Bella's artistry paved the way for their collaboration on 'Nkuwe,' a track recorded in 2022 but released a year later due to logistical reasons.
Kin Bella's discography boasts several other notable tracks, including 'Banatusangayo,' 'Tondabisa,' 'Gunsitula,' 'More,' and 'Kyewesunga.'
