EARLY LIFE
Hassan Wasswa and his wife Sarah gave birth to Lanah Sofie as Nampala Sofie.
Lanahsophie began singing as a young girl at nsanji Primary School when she was 9 years old. She was given the role of soloist for all school choir folk songs.
She took a nursing course after getting her A level, but because she loved music so much, she soon after took a music course (VOICE) at the Kampala music school.
She chose to go by her stage name, Lanah Sophie, instead of her real name.
