Mike Mungu is the latest sensation hailing from Kampala,Uganda . As a proud native of Northern Uganda he draws deeply from the rich musical traditions of percussion which helps him produce , write and compose distinctive melodies. He adores artist neighborhoods like Bien and Mike Kayihura . His baritone sound is also colored by global influences, including Giveon , Tank , and RAYE . Mike Mungu's hallmark as an artist is his versatility, his will to keep smiling with a toxic mindset as he seamlessly blends genres to create his unique vocaloid sound—a dynamic mix of his RnB, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Pop, Soul and Hip-Hop. Micheal’s musical journey took off with his debut project "Finally ," and his growth since then has been tremendous. After his Zouk/RnB feel of Maisha , Mike’s artistry begins to bridge the gap between the intimate and universal worlds.
