DJ Nimrod has revealed that Gravity Omutujju intentionally wanted to be seen crying during a recent music show

During a press conference held on October 13, Gravity Omutujju, whose real name is Gereson Wabuyi, surprised the music industry by shedding tears in front of reporters. This came as a shock to many, given that he had projected a tough image just days before. In the lead-up to his emotional display,

Omutujju had made a series of media appearances in which he had criticised other musicians, including Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, and Bobi Wine, using condescending language to describe them. These comments were made following his concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala on October 1. Omutujju was particularly upset that the aforementioned musicians had refused to promote his concert on their social media platforms, and he had gone so far as to suggest that they were no longer relevant to the music industry and should focus on farming or other pursuits.

Balaam Barugahara, the events promoter who organised Gravity Omutujju's show, advised the rapper to show more respect to industry elders, as he appeared to be taking his criticisms too far. However, according to DJ Nimrod (real name Nimrod Nabeeta), Omutujju intentionally cried during the press conference as a strategic move.

In an interview with Kasuku, Nimrod explained that he discreetly gave Omutujju a handkerchief during the press conference, but the rapper wanted to be seen crying for a reason. He suggested that this was all part of show business and that Omutujju had an agenda to push forward. Nimrod was seated beside Omutujju during the press conference.
