I don't have "daddy issues," and men aren't easy, says Sheebah Karungi.

The term "daddy issues" has more than one meaning, but it is usually used to make fun of women who have bad relationships with men because they never had fathers who were responsible when they were growing up. Karungi recently said the following when he was on Spark TV: "Maybe I have a problem with my dad. So that could be why... But that's not a good reason. They are always trying to figure out why a feminist fights for women's rights so that they can feel good about what they think. The fact that that one didn't have a father bothers her... Who is taking care of your kids if not you? You look like my dad. Are you my father, you who beats your wife?"

She went on: "You are not my father, but what you are doing is worse than anything I've ever seen. Men aren't simple... They aren't bad, but they are hard. We need to give women the tools they need to get a job and enjoy life. When she does that, she won't need a man anymore, and I want women to choose to be with men. Don't stick around because they need you... Therein lies the problem... I don't want a woman to worry about what would happen to her if she broke up with her boyfriend... If you're married and your husband treats you well, respects you and your family, and pays for your kids' school fees, you're happy and I wish you the best. But if you know deep down that you're just putting on a show, [that's not the way to live]... Stop trying to look good and save ourselves..."

She also: "I have nothing against men... Right now, a man is my best friend. There are good men and there are bad men in the world. What do you do when you find a bad man? Do you get stuck because there's nothing you can do? ... That's not marriage, that's a prison... And I'm proud of you as a man who makes a woman happy."

She has said in more than one interview that she will never get married, but she wants to have kids someday.
