He candidly expressed, "It's a gratifying feeling to witness a friend achieve significant promotions. Seeing someone you know appointed as a minister is truly fulfilling." Kenzo accompanied Nyamutoro as her guest during her inauguration as the new Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development overseeing minerals.

The youthful minister, along with other newly appointed cabinet members, took their oaths at a ceremony officiated by Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny-Dollo and attended by President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe.

Following her swearing-in, Nyamutoro captured a memorable moment with Kenzo and the President. Kenzo took to social media once more to extend congratulations to his purported "close friend" Nyamutoro on this significant milestone. "It brings me immense joy to witness your inauguration as the Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals)," he shared.

Reports surfaced indicating Nyamutoro's involvement in Kenzo's music career, particularly in recent years. The youthful legislator from West Nile reportedly played a prominent role at the Eddy Kenzo music festival held at the Kololo Independence Grounds on November 12, 2022. The event garnered significant attendance, nearly filling the expansive grounds.

Kenzo notably held a press conference shortly after the festival, where he tearfully thanked his fans for their support. Nyamutoro, then a freshman legislator representing youth in parliament, was reportedly instrumental in organizing the festival.

It is reported that Nyamutoro oversaw various aspects of the event, including gate collections and logistics. In a radio interview late last year, Nyamutoro acknowledged her long-standing professional relationship with Kenzo and her efforts to support his interests, including lobbying for copyright laws through the Uganda National Musicians Federation.
