When asked if King Saha wrote "Valu Valu" for him, Chameleone said, "No."

Calvin Kalule, also known as Calvin de Entertainer, was the one who talked to Saha when he said that, so when Chameleone recently appeared on his show, he asked him about it.

Entertainer: "I've always wanted to ask you this: Did Saha help make Valu Valu in any way?"

"You asked a good question. Does Saha sing or speak Kiswahili?" said Chameleone.

Entertainer: "I don't know of any Kiswahili songs that he's put out."

Chameleone: "So, what did he add to Valu Valu?

... It's very easy... Maybe you were there when I was recording the song... But if you watch someone build a house, you didn't build it... You know! What did Saha add if he doesn't speak Kiswahili? Let him write another one like Valu Valu if he wrote Valu Valu... He doesn't want to sing that kind of song, does he?"

Entertainer said: "I'm surprised that the same person wrote both Valu Valu and Badilisha. I'm surprised that Saha writes music for other people and doesn't promote himself... He doesn't brag about his work everywhere he goes."

Saha then spoke up: "Calvin, you should know that smart people work in the industry... One day, when artists come to your show, you'll ask them one by one, "Chameloene, has Saha ever written a song for you?" Has Saha ever written a song for you, Kenzo? "...there are artists who know that man is smart."

He added: "I'm good at singing, and I can learn the rest. You can make fun of my English, but I don't make mistakes when I play music... Because I know how to sing, I always walk in a straight line."

He went on: "I also listen to music by other singers sometimes, and sometimes I think, "That one is smart." You just give people time. They will shock you and drive you crazy... Music takes time... I've made songs for a lot of different artists."
