Muhoozi Kainerugaba was the guest of honour, calling them "cockroaches" and suggesting that they had mental issues. Despite the backlash, Spice Diana insisted on performing, saying that everyone is free to do what they want. Cool defended Diana's decision to perform, saying that she had never been specific about who she supports and that she should be free to perform for anyone. He also reminded critics that he has always supported Diana, even when she asked for a collabo and he turned her down.

He further added that he was the one who picked the musicians to perform at the event, and that those who were criticizing Diana were likely only interested in the money. The Rukundo Egumeho Thanksgiving concert took place on Wednesday.
